The first incident happened on Monday, September 24 between midnight and 8.20am when burglars entered the bungalow through an unlocked side door. They searched the house while the victim, a man in his 70s, was asleep and stole a wallet, containing cards and about £60 in cash, from his bedroom. The cards were later found discarded in Spynke Road.

The same bungalow was targeted again the following day between 6.30pm and 9pm. Burglars forced open a bathroom window and carried out an untidy search in the conservatory and bedrooms. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed either incident or noticed people acting suspiciously in the area around the times stated.

Residents are urged to make sure doors and windows are locked overnight and before going out.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Mark Easter at Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
