Burglars who targeted the Gas Club in Sprowston took cash from fruit machines while offenders searched other parts of the building.

The club, within the grounds of Sapphire House on Roundtree Way, was broken into between midnight and 4pm on Saturday, February 1, when the suspects throws concrete through a window.

The suspects fled through rear fire doors onto Sprowston High School playing field, towards Corbett Avenue or Falcon Road West.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area.

Witnesses should contact PC Darren Phillips at Sprowston Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
