Burglar breaks into 87-year-old’s home in Norwich through unlocked door

A burglar broke into the house of an 87-year-old woman, stole her purse and sold her bank card for £500.
Sam Parker, of Stevenson Road in Earlham, broke into the home in Wycliffe Road in Eaton on May 3 through an unlocked door, before taking the purse and selling the victim’s bank card, Norwich magistrates court heard today.
The 24-year-old also admitted burgling a home in Primula Drive on May 10 where he took a handbag, purse, wallet, mobile phones and a laptop worth a total of £1,800.
Parker will be sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on August 10.
