A primary school south of Norwich was forced to shut today because of flooding.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to Brooke Primary School, in High Green, Brooke, at about 7.30am this morning.
A fire service spokesman said one fire crew from Loddon attended the scene and at least one classroom was flooded with between three and four inches of water.
The firefighters were at the school until about 9am and cleared a drain to help the water drain away.
On Norfolk County Council’s school closures website, a posting from Brooke Primary School said: “The school is flooded and inaccessible.”
