An eight-year-old boy was hit by a car close to a Norwich school during rush hour this morning.
The boy was left with minor injuries following the incident, which happened on Mansfield Lane at about 8.30am near to the Hewett School.
A police spokesman said the boy had suffered bruises and scratches.
Police and paramedics attended the scene, but the road remains open.
