Simon Wright, the member for Norwich South, is participating after being asked by Keith Sadler, a campaigner for the Royal National Institute of Blind People.

As well as demonstrating the day-to-day experiences of blind people, the event aims to highlight the impact of the change from Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to Personal Independence Payments (PIP).

Blind and partially sighted people face a wide range of additional costs in living independently, which the RNIB says is not recognised in the draft PIP criteria.

Mr Wright begin with a walk around Chapelfield Shopping centre before moving over to Norwich market.

The event will take place on Tuesday and begin at 2pm.
