Beware! Zombies have attacked Norwich city centre

Did you spot the creepy visitors terrifying shoppers in Norwich today?
An army of creepy visitors descended on the streets of Norwich today.
Terrified passers by watched in horror as the walking dead marched amongst busy shoppers on Gentleman’s Walk.
The chain-carrying monsters caused chaos as they spooked the unsuspecting public, chasing humans down the street.
Fortunately, they weren’t the real thing - but actors finding out how Norwich would cope with a zombie apocalypse.
Josh Walker, 18, of St Alfred Munnings Road, a telephone salesman, said Norwich would last less then five minutes if Norwich experienced a real zombie apocalypse.
He said: “I would run and hide if a real apocalypse came - we would all be dead.”
And Oliver Cousins, 20, of Buckham Place, a domestic cleaner, was more prepared.
He said: “I would probably try and store lots of food because I don’t want to go hungry.
“I would try and fight them off but I don’t think I would make it, I would probably just turn into one and get everyone else.”
But Mr Cousins said Norwich would stand a good chance against a zombie takeover. He said: “Norwich can be a bit of a zombie city sometimes, so perhaps we are ready.”
Luckily for Norwich, today’s zombies were played by actors from Thetford’s Combat Paintball team.
