A woman was sexually assaulted in a car in Norwich.

It happened in Cannell Green, off Barrack Street, between 9.30pm and 10pm on Friday, May 23.

Police said the woman, in her 30s, was sitting in a car with the driver door ajar when she noticed a man stumbling towards her.

The woman opened the car door to ask the man if he was all right when he lunged towards her and touched one of her breasts.

The victim hit the man and told him to leave before he walked off in the direction of Whitefriars.

The man was white and aged about 60.
