At around 4.50pm on Friday (February 15) a man paid for some shopping at the town’s Asda store at a self service checkout, and requested £50 cash back. But he forgot to collect the money and left the shop.

CCTV footage shows a woman who used the checkout a little while later collected the cash. She is described as in her late 40s to early 60s, with short fair hair and was wearing a black coat and glasses.

Officers are now urging her to get in touch so the money can be reunited with its rightful owner.

Call PC Rebecca Ayers on 101.
