Emergency services rushed to the scene, a mile from the Great Yarmouth end of the road, at around 2pm yesterday (Monday) following the four vehicle collision, involving two lorries, a black Toyota Hilux and a silver Audi Quattro.

Both lorries went into a ditch and the male driver of one was trapped. He was released from his cab and taken to the James Paget Hospital with a serious foot injury.

The road was closed for around eight hours while the vehicles were recovered and a collision investigation was launched.

Officers from the Acle roads policing unit are now appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them. Call police on 101.
