Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a Norwich convenience store yesterday.
At around 8.15am a man wearing a green jacket and sunglasses, with his face covered, entered Silver Stores in Silver Street, north Norwich, and threatened a member of staff with a knife. He demanded money and took cash from the till before running off along Silver Street.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen a suspicious person in the area at the time, particularly in Nightingale Lane.
It comes just days after a Norwich man described the moment his life was threatened and a knife was pushed against his throat during a terrifying robbery at a Mile Cross shop. The 20-year-old was left severely shaken but unhurt following the armed robbery of Aylsham Road Convenience Store at about 12.40pm on Monday, July 9.
Anyone with information should contact DC Phil Paddon at Norwich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
