A poignant exhibition of photographs from the life of Anne Frank, taken by her father, has gone on show at the Forum in Norwich.
The display, which was launched last night and will stay until February 6, ties in with Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday.
A series of special events and talks has been arranged to run alongside the exhibition.
They began last night, with a talk by Eva Schloss, Anne Frank’s step-sister, who described her experiences going into hiding from the Nazis, being betrayed and then of surviving Auschwitz with her mother.
The next event will take place on Thursday, when Joe Stirling will talk about the journey of his life as a child of the Kindertransport project at the Millennium Library from 6pm.
The Fusion gallery at the Forum will also be screening Journeys, a short film about the stories of modern-day refugees and displaced communities, between 10am and 4.30pm until February 8 (closed on Sundays).
