A11 closed for over an hour near Attleborough after van crashes into broken down Mercedes

The A11 was blocked southbound near Attleborough in the early hours of this morning after a van crashed into a broken down car.
Police were called to the A11 junction with the B1077 Norwich Road, near Besthorpe, at 5.55am to an initial call of a black Mercedes having broken down and causing an obstruction in the slow lane.
A silver Renault van then subsequently crashed into the car and police needed to close the lane for over an hour.
There were no injuries however and the road was open again by 7.20am.
