A television doctor is the latest star to be cast in an award-winning Broadway and West End musical coming to Norwich on tour.
Dr Ranj Singh, best known for his appearances on This Morning, will make his musical theatre debut in the hit show & Juliet which comes to Norwich Theatre from July 30 to August 3 on its upcoming UK and Ireland tour.
The 44-year-old will play Lance alongside X Factor winner Matt Cardle in the role of Shakespeare and Emmerdale actress Sandra Marvin as Angélique.
Created by the Emmy-winning Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read, the Olivier Award-winning jukebox musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told and asks, what would happen next if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo?

"I know it’s a bit of a change from my usual work but not many people will know how hard I've been working behind the scenes to make this happen and it's an absolute dream come true."
Dr Ranj previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 and was partnered with Janette Manrara.
He also appeared on ITV's All Star Musicals which led to him starring in his own sold-out West End show Scrubs to Sparkles later that year.
