Beyond is Norwich Theatre’s fifth stage, which takes projects it has either supported or produced out of its venues, the Theatre Royal, Playhouse and Stage Two, into the wider region.

Upcoming 2024 shows in Norwich include Kiss Marry Kill (May 16-19) at the Great Hospital and DARKFIELD’s ARCADE and SÉANCE (June 5-16) will be in shipping containers outside The Forum.

Kiss Marry Kill is an electrifying story by Dante or Die that explores the forbidden and intimate love between two prison inmates and the performance will take place around the audience.

DARKFIELD stages shows in complete darkness to create an immersive narrative that is imagined, not seen.

SÉANCE will transport you into a Victorian séance room with 360-degree sound and sensory effects.

In ARCADE, slip into the virtual world of retro video games in another shipping container. 

You will be allocated a 1980s arcade machine and, plunged into darkness, you get to choose your own avatar and route through a world ravaged by war.
