Police have arrested a man in connection with a crash that brought the city centre to a standstill and left a person in hospital.
On December 21 a collision between an Audi and Skoda happened at the St Stephens roundabout at 4.50pm, after officers had been pursuing the Skoda in Rose Lane and Market Avenue for failing to stop.
However the pursuit ended shortly before the crash due to safety reasons.
Following the incident the person behind the wheel of the Skoda fled the scene shortly before police arrived.
After months on the run a man in his 20s was arrested on March 19 and subsequently bailed until next month while police investigate further.

A police spokeswoman said: "Following investigations police arrested a man in his 20s in Loughton, Essex, on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, failing to stop, possession of cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon.
"He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently released on bail until 18 June 2024.

The driver of the Audi was taken to the N&N Hospital with minor injuries, while the incident caused gridlock around the city's inner ring road.
Images from the scene show the Skoda facing into traffic close to the St Stephens Street junction, with severe damage to the front of both cars.
The crash caused long and widespread delays for commuters as Norwich's inner ring road became gridlocked.
