The barbecue will be fired up at a city pub for a special bank holiday weekend menu alongside live music.
The Weavers Arms, opened by friends George Colley and Natty Crothers in Muspole Street last summer, will host the event at the pub this Saturday.
The pair also own Yard pasta and cocktail bar in Pottergate and Mr Colley is one of the owners of Brick Pizza next to Norwich Market.
The chefs will be on the wood-fired barbecue in the garden grilling chicken, pork belly, aged beef, scallops and veggie dishes between midday and 8pm.
Norwich band The High Points will also be in the garden to treat guests to live music.
The band, who can often be spotted busking in the city, recently had success in the USA after one of their songs was chosen to feature in a Wendy's advert.
Weavers Arms supervisor, Adam Cross, said: "We've had a pretty rotten April so fingers crossed we will be going into this month with a really lovely, summery event with great music.

"Hopefully the sun will be basking down on us all day and it's going to be really fun, with a fantastic menu.
"We have an option to book and the barbecue menu will be the only one we have on that day.
"I would recommend booking on a Saturday because we get very busy."
