A man has been jailed for shoplifting in Norwich.
Hallum Elgood, 37, of no fixed address stole items including meat, laundry products, coffee and confectionery from city Co-op stores between April 7 and 11.
He was arrested on April 22 and taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning and was later charged.
While in custody, under Operation Converter, Elgood asked for 10 other offences to be taken into consideration.

They included a further 10 thefts from a Co-op store in Earlham which took place between April 12 and 22.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft from shops.
Elgood was handed an eight-week prison sentence and ordered to pay £639 in compensation.
