A man has been jailed for 30 weeks after shoplifting in the city.
Mathew Oarton, 37, of Devonshire Street in Norwich was jailed after pleading guilty to stealing from a shop in Lovelace Road on February 23.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday for the count of theft along with breaching a suspended sentence from a separate offence.
Oarton is also due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on May 7 after being charged with robbery, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place in Norwich on February 9 and March 8.
