The emergency services were called to a fire at a property on the outskirts of Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston to a domestic building blaze in Gravel Hill in Stoke Holy Cross, off Long Lane, at 2.16pm.
They wore breathing apparatus and used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots and the fire was out by 2.53pm.
A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said that there was "significant damage" to the property, but no one was injured.
The cause is currently unknown and is being investigated by the fire service.
