Preston Primary School, Tasburgh, is set to reopen its library following its revamp.
The project, led by the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre, has seen every book in the school catalogued.
They also taught the pupils about the library catalogue system which is used in all libraries.
The upgraded collection includes some new books which will fill the gaps in the existing books to further support the school's current curriculum and provide a wider range of non-fiction books.
This redevelopment was supported by The Friends of Preston Primary School who, through sales of cakes and refreshments, bingo nights, raffles, and a Christmas tree trail, were able to donate £5,000.
This parent volunteer organisation aims to enhance the pupils' school experience.
With the funding provided, the essential facelift of the library was made possible.

The school is planning to officially reopen the library on February 16, with a whole day of family reading sessions.
Parents can browse the enhanced library and share books with their children.
The day will end in a celebration assembly featuring an official opening of the library.
