Rush hour traffic is being heavily delayed and disrupted by gasworks on a main inner ring road.
Work is under way in Barrack Street, Norwich, which has reduced the two lanes on the approach to Saint Crispins roundabout to one.
Cadent Gas workers have erected barriers on the left-hand lane, meaning access to Whitefriars and Saint James' Court must be taken via the right-hand lane.
This is to allow them to carry out utility repair and maintenance works which are expected to be completed by midnight next Wednesday (January 17).

Motorists are being warned of long delays during the busiest times of the day.
It comes while the formerly derelict 77-79 Barrack Street is being converted, refurbished and extended after rumours spread that it would be demolished.
The grade II listed buildings which date back to the early 19th century and were previously takeaway food businesses are being brought back into use amid the wider redevelopment of the area.
