A man accused of stealing a tip jar from a café has appeared in court.
Police were called to Plumstead Road in Heartsease at around 9.50am on October 8 after the manager of a café discovered several items were missing from the property, including a till and a tip jar.
A man was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident and taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
On Tuesday, Max Gannon, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary, criminal damage, escaping from lawful custody, assaulting an emergency worker and threatening behaviour.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning and will next appear at Norwich Crown Court on November 15.
