Plans for structural changes at a McDonald's drive-through restaurant on the city outskirts have been given the go-ahead.
The proposals, which have been approved by Broadland District Council, will see the fast-food chain's store in Boundary Road, Hellesdon, replace seven advertising displays and establish a new 'folded roof' concept.
Upgrade works to the existing signage have been given the green light with the condition that it is not "directly visible" to drivers on the adjacent road.

This will see the replacement of the existing golden arch symbols and McDonald's text signage.
Broadland has also approved an application from the same store, which is open 24 hours a day, to establish a new 'folded roof' concept comprising of aluminium cladding.
Hellesdon Parish Council had no objections and Norwich City Council also had no issues.
A city council planning officer said: "The seven adverts will replace current illuminated signage at the location and as long as the thresholds of luminescence are abided by there is no issue foreseen in adding these to this particular location."
The work has been given the green light by Broadland, provided it is completed by June 2026.
