A serial thief who targeted shops across Norwich has been jailed.
Joe Creed, of Godric Place, entered a number of different stores between March 13 and May 23.
In total, the 32-year-old stole a range of goods including alcohol, meat and chocolate worth more than £1,700.
Following one theft on May 7, Creed was challenged by a store security guard and then assaulted him.

He was arrested on Tuesday, May 23, and taken to Wymondham police station for questioning where he was later charged with 18 offences.
On Wednesday, May 24, he plead guilty to 15 counts of theft, two counts of attempted theft and one assault.
He was sentenced to five months in prison and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
