Langford Estates officially opens today in a new office on Colman Road in the city - expanding not only into bigger premises but offering property sales as well as rentals. But why the move? Property editor Caroline Culot went along to find out.
Moving house is often thought as stressful.
But having just relocated to a bigger office themselves, Langford Estates aims to make your move go as smoothly as theirs.
Langford Estates officially opens today at 138, Colman Road in the city, having moved from their former, much smaller abode on Bank Street.
And if you are thinking of selling, Langford Estates really want your property on their books as not only have they moved to bigger premises, but they've expanded their service too – now offering property sales as well as lettings.
Langford Estates was set up in 2003 by husband and wife team Simon and Ruth Codling, with the business named after Ruth's grandfather Thomas Langford Bettaney.
They now boast a motivated, experienced team including Joss Riley in sales, Sam Harris and Tracy Suckling in lettings and Anjella Finlay as the office manager.
'We have moved from a small office on a road with very little footfall to the vibrant parade that is Colman Road – and we've done that because we want to be more visible,' said Ruth.
'We want people to come in and see us, we want to offer that kind of friendly service that isn't just about clicking a button online. We will look at any property, we are well positioned to take on student lets but we also need houses to sell across all price ranges and areas, particularly NR2, NR3 and NR4.'
The office has been repainted with new flooring, new modern office furniture including white stools, new window displays and even the two Citroen pool cars have been given a new look with the company logo.
Everything is geared up for an exciting launch today and coffee and cake is on offer for those who want to pop in to Langford Estates' own housewarming!
