Naughty naughty silly terrorist. Gone and put the nasty empty plastic bottles in the wrong bin and of the cheek left the lids on.........Do people get paid for thinking these silly terror ads up.

Was thinking the same, do these things look like rolled up plastic morphs??/

Read Little Jonny's whinge on bins, and concluded "What a load of tosh mongering rubbish". Ask littlejonnie for a bin solution, the knob has zero solutions. Popularist and hypercritical nonsence just to sell more non recycleable newsprint; thus Daily Rag promotes cutting more scandinavian conifers down.

What knob comments!!!

Two more waste organisations confirm Daily Mail bin campaign is total garbage and has no viable, sustainable or realistic alternative.

DM is merely using bin whingers to sell papers..and making profit.. They neither care about landfilling, skyfilling or helping recycling. All the waste industry hates the paper!

Wheelie Bins:
The idea of weight monitoring chips in wheelie bins should be scrapped, instead the wheels should be removed, this would mean that if people generated too much waist they could not put their non-wheelie bin out for collection. It would also help prevent them being chucked into canals
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.

Paul Connett and Novia Scotia..lead Canada in Waste to Resource schemes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tB1Ulqa9Njk

One you will like Double; unfortunately, probably rightly, separated food waste in the UK needs to go to Anaerobic Digesters rather than Piggies (cross species food stock risk).

Paul Connett and Joe.

http://www.youtube.com/user/AEHSP#p/u/3/Rzr4mzhgi_Q

Joe and the Piggies; Marin, California. "Its just criminal to put food waste in landfill"

So sign up to zero food waste scheme = weekly food waste collection/caddy.

So 1-5% food waste to black bags/fortnightly bins/gasifiers/plasma

I rather my swill bin went to piggy's out of town, great character who makes a bit of doe on the side.

Pikeys would rustle them pigs and chicks at Norwich dump, that  guy would shoot them in yank land.....and get a medal.

I'd rather food went to piggies also.

However there are protein risks.. more research here to clear this.

Anaerobic Digesters are the next best root to convert waste.

Hey Double..last suggestion solves two problems in one.

Re: This country is mad (bin-mad)
Basically, whether piggies or digester; we need to run a weekly food waste collection at the doorstep.

In Norwich it would work well with 120,000 residents producing 9,000-11,000 Tonnes.
Broadland have it sorted extending collection up to 10,000 residents,

Pukka green.......would give bods some chickens, food waste gone plus you gain fresh eggs.

I've seen ponies in flats and boa constrictors..... fluffy little chicks will make a change.

Re: This country is mad (bin-mad)

My old allotment by the old outdoor pool, all the old boys were called Albert and kept geese, ducks n chickens. A nice little earner flogging goods to the caravan heads next door.  My downfall there was yobs with air-guns and the pub further up.....all that double digging creates a thirst

Pub landlord at that time, used shoot moles in the beer garden with a shot gun..........The good old days.

Re: This country is mad (bin-mad)

The following link pretty much proves my point over weekly food waste collections. Its better for farmers as replacement fertilizer, no landfill, energy from bogas, no need to invest in wasteless and pointless weekly black bin wasting.

The route to take..re weekly collecting..summer concerns

Re: This country is mad (bin-mad)

Still not keen on meat left overs going into a slops bucket, dog number 1 will still have first picking, followed by number 2 and last by foxy loxy of back yard.

Where ever they place those composting factories, house price of that area will plummet.....pong and blue bottles.
