Tory Voters in Norwich

The problem is clear and made up of two factors.

1)    Local people have very short memories; they look at the problems with Labour and they assume that another party would do a better job. They don’t really care which party, it just a case of popularity and the Tories are the second in line. Local people don’t want to think too much, (for reasons why; see factor 2.) People have forgotten the crimes of the Tories and all the good that Labour have done for the country. Lifting all children out of poverty, demolishing the old elitist Careers Service and replacing it with the ‘equality driven’ Connextions Service, New Deal and Working Families Tax Credits. Local people are taking all these things for granted because either they don’t use them or they are too young to remember when they did not exist.

2)    Local people are not very clever. It’s a sad reality but due to a mix of inbreeding and weak genes. In line with geographical evolution Norwich would be a toaster which only cooks one side of your bread.

Local people are not very clever, do you wilstonegreen fall into this" bracket". Are you the last bastion of nulabour support of inbred Norwich, not wanting to crush you physicality  with my contempt for such an inadequate grasp  nulabour failings. I let the real facts destroy you and your ludicrous mumblings. Here we go The money has been squanded  by this governments ineptitude and short-sightedness. Brown inherited a massive surplus. He and his cronies have played expensive grandstanding games internationally to bolster their own ambitions. Unworkable legislation, unwinnable wars (based on a Blair & Bush lie), invasive systems to monitor and control the 'free' British people (ID cards - CCTV) - all without benefit to the good citizens of our once proud country. We cannot even voice our protests within 1 kilometre of the 'Mother of Parliaments'.

Re: Tory Voters in Norwich
Both the labour party and the tories are equally to blame for our broken country, all starting with that terrible women Thatcher then onto the Blair/Brown tory clones.
And as for inbreeding it is hardly likely to happen again, with the country full of immigrants. I wish I did have a short memory, I could then forget this corrupt, greedy, selfish country we have created since the late 70s.
The labour party do not exist. We have two Tory parties.

Poor old Maggie, not been in at the helm of this country..........Since 1990, and yet people like Norton, still blame our greatest leader since Churchill for all of this countries failings. Its to easy and simplistic to lay every thing at her door.  Lets cast our mind back to the reign of sunny Jim and Healey . The dead not getting buried, power cuts, rubbish 10ft deep piled up against the local dump walls. Britain was Europe's poor man with every thing in black and white. The Labour party died with John Smith, the rest is living history of pocket filling and destiny building of nulabour cronies.

Her only g8 moment was 1982; thats about it....like Brown she didn't know when to go, so she looked pathetic in the end with her sobbin hubris. There again I was celebrating at the time with a pint and cigar.

Thatcher Day
Since we have Guy Fawkes day because Fawkes ATTEMPTED to destroy Parliament (Penny for the Guy, mate!) and we burn effigies of Fawkes, should we not have a Margaret Thatcher day for SUCCEEDING in destroying Parliament, well credibility at least (Penny for the Thatcher, mate!) and we could throw Margaret on the bonfire.
Perhars that could apply to Tony Blair and the tory clone party too.

Thatcherite policies are not the way forward.

Strong leader with policies that don't take cash from the old, hard working and gives it to bankers/spives; Thatcher was no better than Brown

Nope, too busy serving in the forces at the front line watching silly poitican wrap themselves in the flag in Cheftain tanks.Jim couldn't take tough decision; Maggie avoided taking tough decisions on the pocket fillers in the city; instead kicking the working folk inthe teeth. Maggie cut the armed forces with "Options to get a job in civy street" using alan whicker lookalike henchman Tom King. Sorry Mad, few kind words for Maggie!

Also Maggie cut the milk ration for 4-5year kids at infant school; then the Rum and Baccy ration in the RN; it goes deep with Maggie and myself. It was the small things; she was plain mean n stingy.
