Merry Christmas

G'day All

Well merry Christmas and a happy new year. Warm this end of the earth, we had around 26 degrees for christmas day so lunch was the only time we cooked, dinner was a Christmas ham with salads and plenty of wine and beer. No way was I going to help cook a turkey this year so we did it the easy way. Yesterday, Boxing day was sunny and over 30 degrees, today is overcast and at the moment here its around 28.

We are still hearing of the news reports of the financial problems we are supposedly having,, they should have told all those waiting for the stores to open yesterday for the christmas sales, I believe they had their highest takings ever this year, so there can't be too much doom and gloom about can there.

The roads are full of those travelling away for the summer holidays at the moment, police are out in force gavering those that they can get some revenue from, I won't bother untill later in the seasons, now the boys are all off doing their own thing we can choose our holiday times and locations a lot better and as Linda will be in Norwich untill June I'll have to wait anyway.

Well better find myself a glass of beer and relax a little, thats not good the boys have drunk it all, you can't trust anyone can you.

                                                                                                                                             and boys (under the table)

G'day Robert. It's pretty cold in Norwich - I miss the warm days sitting under the old gum trees in my garden back in Adelaide, drinking some beaut Barossa merlot. I've been here nearly 8 years and love it, but people don't understand the idea of a hot chrissy! Have a ripper New Year.
