Cardiff
I leave for my Cardiff trip in the morning, I'm still unsure exactly what to pack as the weather forecast appears to be quite a bit different to what is expected here. Hopefully it will be better this year, it poured with rain constantly for the last two GP's. Thank goodness the stadium has a roof, or the event would not have taken place.
I received an e-mail this morning from the FIM, inviting me to a Press Conference on Friday at 1200H. I have the opportunity to carry out one-to-one interviews and take photos. The riders there will be Chris Harris, Scott Nicholls and Emil Sayfutdinov (the Russian rider) also available for interview will be Paul Bellamy, managing director of BSI Speedway.
I have confirmed that I will be attending. I'm not one for public speaking, but will listen hard to what is going on around me, and of course I hope to take plenty of pix. I wish I was more confident in a room full of people. Maybe that's the reason I hide behind my blog. It's all in there, it's just that I'm unable to be up-front and push myself forward.
My eldest son and the band are playing at Norwich Art Centre on Saturday evening, I would have loved to be there, but will have the chance to catch up with photos and videos that are posted on My Space and Facebook. I'm really pleased for them.
Bye for now, more when I get back after the weekend.
