Birthday

I had a lovely birthday. My friend Denise and I went to The Bell and she treated me to lunch, and a couple of house doubles of course. The meal was lovely. In general I don't like going to pubs, but I really enjoy going to The Bell.

Saturday evening I watched the Danish GP on Sky Sports. Jason Crump won, and is also in the lead on points in the competition. I was looking forward to seeing a final with Jason Crump and Emil Sayfutdinov, but it was not to be, as Sayfutdinov was excluded in the semi final for touching the tapes. I'm looking forward to seeing him race at Cardiff. The British boys both got 5 points, and didn't make it to the semi final. Scott Nicholls was pleased to win his last race, as he has had a rough trot in the GP's so far this season, lets hope this is the turning point for him.

Today I went for drinks and nibbles at the home of one of the Liberal party members, it was really nice, I've picked up a bit of a tan while sitting in the garden.

I've been swimming this evening ..... which cooled things just nicely.
