Happy
I'm happy now. The fraudulent amount has been taken has been taken off my credit card statement. It disappeared from the online statement on Saturday, although it was still on the last bill I paid. I just paid the amount that was mine. It was sorted out very quickly, although at the time it didn't seem like it. Each time I saw it on the statement it made me feel really sick. I don't suppose I'll ever find out how it happened. I still get the feeling it happened while I was in London. There is another option, but as I cannot prove that I shall keep my mouth shut, or I could upset a lot of people. However I shall be very careful in future, not that I haven't been, but I shall be extra vigilant now.
What with my credit card sorted, and being able to do a report on the Speedway GP, I'm as happy as a pig in dung ......... as long as I don't smell like one. ;o)
For the past couple of days I have had phone calls from a certain political party because I'm told that I said I would be a teller on election day. I honestly didn't, I just said I would deliver some leaflets, which I did. I've had to stick by my guns and say "no". If I wasn't working on that day it may have been a different story, but there are not enough hours in the day as it is. I do feel a bit mean for not helping out, but as I said a few days ago, I'm looking after number one. If I don't nobody else will.
I'm having a mid-life crisis ......... I'm enjoying listening to Lily Allen.
