My Saturday

I had a lovely quiet Saturday all to myself. I spent the morning at home catching up with a few things, mainly housework. After having a bit of lunch I went into the city to do some underwear shopping. I'm very short of smalls at the moment, time for a re-stock. I went to the Jarrolds end of range clearance shop, I found a nice little number, bra and briefs in my size which for the both items it came to £24. Looking at the original prices on the tags, the bra was £48, the briefs £30. Who in their right mind would pay nearly £80 for underwear, although I guess there are some people out there who do.

While I was in the area I took a look in Sinsins lovestore, the shop was empty, I'm not sure how these places keep going, but they always seem to do so. I was in a naughty mood yesterday, and asked the guy behind the counter if he got staff discount. He replied, yes, but I don't use it. How long have you worked here I asked, 6 years, he replied. What a waste. ;oD.

I enjoyed the Swedish GP on Sky Sports last night. It was good to see Antonio Lindback return as a Wild Card. He had pulled out of Speedway altogether as he had some personal problems. Tony Rickardsson has been working with Antonio to get him back on track (oh, I made a funny) Antonio had a fantastic night, he got into the final, and came 3rd. In 2nd place was Jason Crump. The winner was Emil Sayfutdinov, the Russian rider who has only taken part in three GP'S, and won two of them. Both the British boys had a bad night. Although I'm sure Harris can get back on form. Nicholls only got 1 point, and that was more by luck, another rider had pulled out of the race with bike problems.

Only 25 more sleeps till I leave for Cardiff.
