Music Festival
Our daughter and son in-law arrived Saturday morning on the first ferry from Tayinloan. They left Norwich at 6pm Friday to drive over night; this seems the best time to travel as there is not so much traffic that time of night. What gets me is as soon as they arrive the big fried breakfast appear, as I’m not allowed such things it’s very difficult watching such goings on, so I take my self off and unload the car, I like that as there is always a case of beer.
On the Friday and the Saturday it was the Gigha music festival; this is the fifth year we have held a music festival, as with other years it was a great success. The format is the first concert on Friday followed by a ceilidh which goes’ on until the early morning. A parade led by the Campbeltown pipe band on Saturday afternoon, with side stalls, Scottish dancing, and many more items. I tried to win a bottle of Whiskey at the bottle store, came away with a jar of Bramble Jelly, so that was the end of that spending spree, a pound is a lot of money to a poor fisherman, any way Aud only gives me so much money when I’m let loose at these events.
After all that spending, and excitement I had better get fishing. Still having trouble posting photos on my blog, I’ve emailed for help, still waiting for reply, is there anyone out there, HELP
