John Breeze

 

I just found out today (Saturday) the sad news that John Breeze had passed away on boxing day. I must have known John for around 20 years I think, through Oak Grove Chapel. To be honest there's not much to say that hasn't already been said by Darren and others. He was a great guy, an open, patient, friendly person. He was always thoughtful of others, so dedicated to the church and the community, he was also a brilliant storyteller, and, like myself, a keen photographer. I saw him last at the services just before Christmas, as bright and cheerful as ever. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Pearl and the rest of the family, and with everyone at Oak Grove. (most of who I will probably see before this gets posted). I will miss him, but he is in good hands now.
