A model turned actress has just finished filming her scenes alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names for the much anticipated follow-up to Batman Begins.
Kerri Parker, 23, is no stranger to the big screen with appearances in The Bourne Ultimatum alongside Matt Damon and I Want Candy with former Baywatch beauty Carmen Electra already under her belt.
But her latest project sees her rub shoulders with an all star class for the return of Batman to the big screen in the Christopher Nolan directed blockbuster The Dark Knight. The film, which is due to hit cinema screens next July, stars Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Gary Oldman as Lt James Gordon, and also features Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.
Miss Parker, a former Miss Norwich, said she filmed her scene last week at the Ministry of Sound in London, where she appeared as a glamorous gangster's moll, dressed in a diamante-covered dress designed by Matthew Williamson.
“They fitted me out quite well,” she said. “I was stood behind Eric Roberts when Batman (Christian Bale) came in and he was jumping off balconies and down the stairs.
“I say 'What's going on over there, is that Batman?', and then when he jumps on the table in front, I back off, really scared.”
Miss Parker, from Riverside in Norwich, said the filming took just a couple of days plus a couple of days for the fitting at Pinewood Studios, but provided her with her most prominent role to date.
“It's quite a featured role - more than The Bourne Ultimatum was with more close ups,” she said.
The former Neatherd High School pupil has come a long way in a short time from her school days in Dereham and hopes she will be able to continue adding to her impressive portfolio of films.
“I just take films as and when they come along,” said Miss Parker who earlier this year was filming scenes alongside British comic sensation Simon Pegg and Spiderman's love interest Kirsten Dunst for a new film due out next year - How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.
Miss Parker, who one day wants to appear in a horror movie, made her mark as a model, while studying A-levels at Norwich City College, when she entered FHM's High Street Honey's competition - making it into the top 100.
After that she achieved successes as Miss Norwich, Miss Norfolk, Miss East Anglia, came second in Miss Britain and won Miss Commonwealth and was Max Power babe 2004.
Miss Parker has just done a casting to appear on billboards across London's Underground network but despite her success in the world of modelling and film she keeps her feet on the ground by working towards an honours degree in criminal psychology with the Open University.
