A burglar who stole two Rolex watches worth more than £6,420 was given a last chance by a judge so he can get help for his drug addiction.

Michael Peasey, 23 broke into a farmhouse at Stokesby while the owners were out and took the watches before he was disturbed by the son coming home.

Norwich Crown Court heard that Peasey was arrested after his fingerprint was left behind at the scene of the break-in.

Peasey, of Paget Road, Great Yarmouth, admitted the burglary in August this year.

Judge Peter Jacobs ordered him to go on a drug treatment and testing order and placed him on a two-year supervision order.

Judge Jacobs told him: "I am giving you this one chance. But if you breach it I will put you inside for two years."
