We all love Norwich and now is the time to shout about it to the rest of the world.

The Norwich Evening News and Norwich City Council are throwing down the gauntlet and challenging readers to get photographed brandishing the 'I Love Norwich' eco bag in weird and wonderful places around the world.

The bag has already been flown to the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.

It has also been seen journeying on a camel ride in Egypt and in the depths of the sea with a scuba diver.

Now, our readers are being asked to take the bag with them on holiday, home or abroad.

Lord Mayor of Norwich Eve Collishaw carried the 'I Love Norwich' bag around the Fete de when visiting Rouen recently on a visit celebrating 50 years of being twinned with Norwich.

She said: "The bags are a fun and eco-friendly way to celebrate the city and I hope lots of people will take them on holiday and send back their pictures."

Are you going away for Christmas or New Year? Visiting relatives or friends in another part of the country, or celebrating the festivities in another country?

Wherever you're going or doing, get snapped with your 'I Love Norwich' bag at a prestigious or unusual location and send the picture to communictions @norwich.gov.uk and you could appear in the Norwich Evening News or Citizen magazine.

You can get bags from the Norwich Tourist Information Centre in the Forum for £1.75.
