The weather stayed dry, but the Norfolk Showground was flooded with a sea of pink for the Race for Life this weekend. More than 10,000 women and girls pulled on their running shoes to raise money for Cancer Research UK on Saturday and Sunday.

Norwich City has revealed its biggest ever sponsorship deal as Aviva signed up to have its name on the new shirts for three years.Aviva to sponsor Canaries
Aviva today announced a three-year deal to sponsor Norwich City Football Club. The sponsorship, which will see the company logo printed on the team shirt, comes just days after Flybe revealed they would no longer be sponsoring the Canaries.

A Taverham trumpeter who worked alongside the likes of Morecambe and Wise is having his 80th birthday marked by a special concert. Peter Almond has been a member of Taverham Band for 34 years, but played the trumpet ever since he joined the Royal Air Force in 1946.
