About the show
 The Daved and Confused Going Out Show brings you a heady
mix of live music and interviews with local bands, cinema
reviews and tips on where to go for the best bars and club
nights.
Hosted by Dave 'The Professor' Helsdon and Oli Franzen, who
is simply confused, it will prove to be your unmissable guide
to the weekend and the perfect accompaniment to our free 24-page
Going Out guide in Friday's Evening News.
Dave keeps his ear close to the ground on the local music
scene and will be lining up some of the city's hottest new
talent for interviews, sneak previews and gig reviews.
Oli is the man with the bar reviews and he knows the top
places to go out drinking - no matter whether wine bar or
real ale hotspot. He will also be on hand to help Dave with
the gig reviews and recommendations and interview the bands.
The show will feature a week ahead round up of all events
but there will be a pick of the week so you know what the
one thing you should not miss will be.
