Your tributes to Jay Burns

Jay BurnsJay Burns was involved a horrific head on smash on his moped in May 2006 which left him unable to walk or talk. The 16-year-old was able to communicate with them by smiling and nodding his head and was reacting well to rehabilitation. However, on January 3, 2007, two weeks after hundreds of his friends raised £2,500 to pay for special equipment for him, he developed septicaemia and, two days later, died.

To pay tribute to Jay, e-mail eveningnews@archant.co.uk
