I only see a red cross
To view the e-edition you need a Flash player. Most pcs have this installed on them. If not, when you try to open the e-edition you should be automatically taken to a site where you can download it. If not, click here to download.

I can't see drop-down menus at the top of the page to get to earlier issues OR I can't see the register button
It may be that your screen/desktop resolution is set to 800 x 600 pixels, rather than 1024 x 768.
The window that opens in the e-edition is 1015 x 753 pixels (and a bit more due to title bars and window edges, etc), so you would need to run in 1024 x 768.
To change your screen resolution click the Windows Start button and go to Control Panel, and then Display. (Alternatively, you can right-click on an empty bit of the Desktop space and click Properties).
From this window go to the Settings tab and change the Screen resolution slider to 1024 by 768. Then click OK.
