Ten out of ten – but we are far from perfect
I feel last week's game against Derby County probably summed up our season so far. We would have been really disappointed with even a 1-1 draw, but for half an hour after the game everyone was a little bit in shock at the fact that we lost.

I hope Lita can strike a light under our forwards
I have been asked what Leroy Lita's arrival on loan from Reading means for the rest of the strikers in our first team squad and the answer really is quite simple - I want to see a reaction.

We must believe we can make that leap
The Championship table is starting to take a little bit of shape now that everyone has played seven matches. Wolves have had a flying start and it's clear to me they will be near the top all year and so, I expect, will Birmingham.

I won't wield axe after one below par performance
It goes without saying that our players were unhappy when they arrived at the training ground yesterday after Wednesday night's home defeat by Queens Park Rangers.

We still have a debt that needs to be repaid to fans
I will always remember one particular incident in our Championship defeat at Plymouth last season, even if the rest of the day is best forgotten. I have this picture that will stay with me for the rest of my life - early impressions of Norwich City as a football club and their supporters, It was my first away match as manager, we were 3-0 down, we were playing poorly and we won a corner at the end where our supporters were gathered.

Never mind the loan deals, feel the quality
The transfer window has proved to be an incredibly busy few months for Norwich City, just as we expected. And I want to clear up once and for all some of the arguments over the number of loan players we have signed.

Hunt for right striker is so frustrating
I am sure Norwich City supporters are frustrated that we have yet to sign the one big striker I believe will make a huge difference to our squad - but, rest assured, no one is more frustrated than me.

We’re all in the same boat
Despite Saturday's disappointment, it was excellent being back at Carrow Road for a competitive match. I see the Norwich supporters, the squad and myself as all being in the same boat and rowing in the same direction - but you have to have that.

I’m continuing to work on signing a dominant striker
The first week of the season has been hugely disappointing, especially losing both games when David Marshall has yet to make a serious save. Particularly at Coventry, we had the lion's share of play, created chances but lacked that killer instinct and we need to find that quickly.

Waiting game was not fun to play
I'm pleased with the way that the squad at the club is taking shape - although I've been frustrated at the length of time it's taken to get the players that I want.

Players know exactly what is riding on game
I heard it said this week that we should play well at Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday because we are safe from relegation and we will be more relaxed - but I don't agree with that theory.

It has been an honour to manage Dion
I first had the opportunity to work with Dion Dublin in 1997 when I was assisting Glenn Hoddle as a coach with the England squad. Dion impressed me straightaway with his personality and his humility as a man.

Pain of derby defeat will not hold us back
Our derby defeat at Ipswich last Sunday was a bad experience for everyone connected with the club. We are not happy with what happened. I don't like the experience of playing against our local rivals and playing so poorly.
