A road just outside of Norwich is set to close for 13 weeks.
Sydney Road, in Spixworth, will be shut from March 11 while essential improvements are made to the local drainage systems.
The works include the installation of a new pipe system and gullies to fix current issues with standing water in this area during periods of heavy rain.
Through traffic and road parking will be prohibited during the closure.

For access to the stretch of Sydney Road north of Christine Road, diversions will be in place.
But the length of Sydney Road east of Christine Road is a cul-de-sac, inaccessible by any diversion route.
Therefore, people living in this section will be permitted access but may face delays depending on where trenches have been dug out and what work is occurring at the time of access.
The east section will also be open for access during evenings and weekends.
The work will cost £180,000 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
